For my graduation internship at SintLucas, I moved to London for five months to do an internship at the company LICKALIX. LICKALIX is a small family business that specializes in producing organic and all-natural ice lollies (ice cream). Their ice lollies are made from real fruit and are free from lactose, dairy, gluten and nuts. In recent years, LICKALIX has wanted to reduce its plastic footprint. That's why they teamed up with "A Plastic Planet" to make the packaging of their ice lollies 100% compostable and completely plastic-free.

The compostable packaging assignment was something I worked on during this internship. The ice lollies and fruit on the packaging needed to be illustrated. I illustrated different types of fruit and the ice lollies on the new packaging. Another assignment was the rebranding of their YouTube Intro’s and Outro’s for their lolly recipe and their sustainable living video’s.
In addition to the graphic work, I did at LICKALIX, I was lucky enough to experience multiple events, where I have been helping with promoting the company. During these events my primary task was to speak with other businesses and promote the LICKALIX brand, creating more awareness and allocating new promotion partners. I have paid close attention to other business as well, to see and experience their way of promoting their brand.
And the last important experience I got from interning at LICKALIX, is the adventure of living in London all by myself.
